Giveaway Dog

Giveaway Dog is our very own mascot here at Suburban Style Challenge!
Her name is Trixie and she’s my quirky, full-of-personality pup with a pretty little mutt-face that’s impossible not to fall in love with.  She hunts out great giveaways for Suburban Style Challenge fans, which she shares on our Facebook page on Tuesdays.

Each week, I post a different, fun photo of Trixie and allow other bloggers from all over to share giveaway events they’re hosting or participating in.  It’s like a one-stop-shop for cuteness and great chances to win awesome stuff!  And of course, if I come across something (or am participating myself), I share as well.

In case you’re wondering, Trixie is a mixed-breed dog that my husband and I got from 4Paws 4U 4Ever in West Chicago, IL.  She was about 8 months old and had been pulled a mere 3 days before her kill date from a shelter in Indiana, and transported to the shelter in West Chicago.  We were fortunate enough to find her there, where her crazy personality made us laugh and fall in love with her immediately.  She came home with us Jul 9, 2005 and has been a big part of our lives ever since.  She was a bit of a handful as a “puppy” but has grown into (with a lot of patience and hard work) a wonderful dog that is the poster-pup for rescuing!
