Yesterday was the last day of the 21 Day Challenge, and the rule was to use all of my new-found dressing confidence to put together a killer outfit that works for me. I normally would have planned this out the night before, and spent quite awhile trying stuff on and going back and forth on stuff. But, we had our company party the night before and I didn’t get home until around midnight, and was dead tired, so I just crashed. So I had just a few min in the morning to throw something together.
But I had to take into account that I’d be sitting in an all day meeting followed by dinner with some ladies from work and then a trip to the Baton Show Lounge with them for a fun night out (and fun it was!!). So I very quickly decided on skinny jeans with a black dolman-sleeved top (which I topped with a cute poncho-hoodie thing during the day, that I didn’t get a shot of). I wore my black flat OTK boots and topped it all off with some lovely accessory layering –a teal sparkly scarf from Target and a long leaf necklace also from target. My hair and makeup were pretty simple.
Forgive the not great photos… I almost forgot to take a pic, so I took these quick when I got home last night (er, this morning?), so I was super tired and the lighting was horrid.
And I guess technically it’s now winter, huh? I should stop tagging these posts with “fall” I think. We got snow here last night.
Regarding the 21 Day Challenge, I had a great time with it. I’m glad it’s over in the sense that I don’t have to worry about snapping a pic everyday, but I am going to miss having inspiration for an outfit every day. I have definitely learned a lot and will for sure be doing some of the things I’ve done in the challenge on a fairly regular basis.
