Get Ready for Spring with Monroe and Main Stunning Spring Fashions!

This is a Fashionista Event Opportunity, and is hosted by Still Blonde after all these YEARS and Modly Chic.

Monroe and Main catalogs are always so much fun to receive in the mail, and the Spring 2015 catalog was no exception. Filled with stunning colors and prints, perfect wear to work pieces, and tons of flattering styles, this catalog really has something for everyone. I was given the opportunity to select some pieces from the Spring 2015 catalog and was able to get almost a complete outfit for just around $150! What did I score? Well, I knew the Border Print Tunic was a must-have because it’s super versatile–great with leggings or jeans and easy to dress up or down. I also snagged a beautiful neutral-but-light Geometric Inspired Scarf, which will be perfect to add a little warmth without being too heavy as the weather warms up. When I saw the silver and white Cloe Sandal I knew a pair had to make its way to my closet, because I had nothing like it (surprising, right?) and I could wear this shoe to work, out with friends, on a date with hubs… pretty much anywhere except the dog park. And for a little extra something fun, I threw in this Chevron Body Chain… I’ve always wanted one, and at just $7.99, I felt like this one couldn’t be passed up!

Monroe and Main Stunning Spring Fashions

Love this whole look for spring… easy and chic!

Monroe and Main truly delivers when it comes to easy-to-wear fashion!

It was no accident that all of the pieces I chose went perfectly together, but their versatility really shines. I chose to photograph just one outfit for you, but I can’t wait to play around with this tunic and the shoes as the weather gets warmer (soon, please, soon). I wore my tunic over cropped jeans, topped with the body chain and scarf, and then a cobalt blazer (check out this one from Monroe and Main that’s similar). I finished it off with my Chlo Sandals and a silver clutch to hold just the essentials. I was ready for an afternoon out with the girls!

And a quick check to see if everyone else is ready…

My favorite part about everything is definitely the tunic. It’s one of those pieces that can work for nearly any situation… and the best part? It’s a material that doesn’t get wrinkly, which means it’s perfect for topping with a cardigan at the office, and then going right to happy hour in, because it won’t look like you spent all day chained to your desk. You’ll look fresh and put-together with a quick removal of the cardigan and swiping flats for heels.

Monroe and Main Stunning Spring Fashions

The Border Print Tunic is sleeveless and halter style… the scarf covered my racerback bra straps that still peeked out, but a strapless may work better for going bare-shouldered here.

Oh, and it’s also super-packable, which means it’s great for vacations and business trips alike. Nothing’s worse than having to iron everything you packed so you look presentable. I love pieces like this that always look great. I took this out of the package and it was erady to wear!

How cool is this body chain?!

I also really like these shoes. With the 2 3/4″ heel they’re easy to spend all day in, but are far from boring or frumpy. The metallic speaks to the rockstar in me, but they’re sleek enough to be professional. They’ll be equally as cute with work pants in the office as they will with a springy dress for a luncheon.

Monroe and Main Stunning Spring Fashions

They’re also totally a snap to put on, which is great… no buckles to fuss with, just press the stud through the hole and go!

At $79.95, they are a little more than I’d normally spend on shoes… but finding shoes like this that don’t have a 4″ stiletto heel has proven to be hard as of late, so it’s actually totally worth it! I guess that’s just part of growing older, huh? Being willing to spend money on shoes that are comfortable and cute, instead of just one or the other (and cheap)?

That tunic is great. I love how you’ve paired it with a bright colored jacket – that royal blue color is gorgeous.

I learned that Ankle straps: Ankle straps are becoming more popular with flats, heels and sandals. Ankle straps are perfect for all-day wear because they provide a little extra support to spring shoes, making them easier to walk around in.

Use your earrings this spring to experiment with pops of color, since bright hues are what the season is all about.

You are most definitely rocking that outfit! That lovely tunic was on my list to buy and you make me question not getting it; it’s so flattering and looks very comfortable. While the shoes aren’t my personal taste I agree that it’s getting harder and harder to find heels that you can’t potentially kill yourself in. LOL

I think I’d opt for their Loco Tunic-it’s very fresh, looks comfortable, and I’d love to pair it with a pair of leggings! Thank you for the great giveaway opportunity 🙂
