Another random outfits look I found buried on a memory card, this one featured a sheer skirt I wore over the summer. This time, since it was fall, I decided to layer it over leggings, which made it work-friendly. Without anything under it, I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing it to work at all. But the leggings and my over-the-knee boots make it work great. On top I wore a fun tee that says “Parental Advisory Explicit Context”, which I topped with a grey cardigan. I layered on necklaces and a couple of rings, and then left work a little early to get my hair touched up at Bii Hair Salon. I snapped these pics quickly, before going into the salon.
Sorry the shot is blurry… it was windy out and apparently harder to get a decent shot than I thought. My face isn’t all that important though, really. Ah well, here’s a closer look at my tee and my necklaces, which is the same layering I had done for awhile, all Stella & Dot pieces.
And here’s a look at my rings. Nothing really more than my wedding set and a fun skull ring I got a few years ago at Kohl’s.
Last but not least, here’s a quick top-down look at my boots with the sheer skirt. This skirt has a liner, but I probably should have sized up when I got it. Unfortunately, it was an online purchase and was final sale, so I couldn’t exchange it. The size it is, the liner rides up a little bit, which is why I’d never wear it to work without leggings underneath. But I really liked it with the leggings, so it worked out nicely.
This outfit was mostly a success.
I wore the tee to give one of my coworkers a chuckle, but I don’t think I’d wear it to work again. We got a fun laugh out of it, but I’m not sure I would have been comfortable in it at the office the whole day, even with the cardigan covering most of it. I’m all for wearing graphic tees to my office, but not this one.
