FBFF: Top 5 Books

Today’s FBFF post involves not fashion, but books. I’m ok with that, being a big reader. We were asked to list either our top 5 books or our 5 last read books. I figured I’d go with my top 5. So here they are, in no particular order:

  • The Taking by Dean Koontz
  • White Oleander by Janet Fitch
  • The Lovely Bones by Alice Seinold
  • The Cage by Ruth Minsky Sender
  • Dark Rivers of the Heart also by Dean Koontz
  • I actually had to do this list off the top of my head, since I’m traveling right now. On a related note, sorry if this post looks weird. I’m writing from the WP app on my phone completely for the first time.

Anyway, all of the above books I’ve read numerous times. Some so much that covers have fallen off and pages are permanently dog-eared, some are even highlighted or have notes in the margins.

I won’t go into why I like each of the books. I like them all for different reasons, and they’ve all resonated with me in different ways. They are books that I find myself thinking of or referencing (often to myself) on a virtually daily basis though, which says a lot. They are all books that I know I can always pick up and read, and enjoy, when I need something like that.

Normally I’d go onto my bookshelf and pull a few quotes or something from each book. But I can’t do that from Vegas 😉 So instead I’ll just recommend you check those books out and hope that if you do, you enjoy them. If you’ve read any of them, please feel free to share your thoughts.
