As if shopping for jewelry online wasn’t fun enough… enter Shopbevel!
Shopbevel is a new kind of shopping experience, and it’s super cool! First, Shopbevel works with independent designers to bring to market the best in jewelry design. But designers don’t just submit their designs to Shopbevel for production. Oh no, designers from all over the world can submit their designs, the community votes on what should be produced. Shopbevel then manufactures and markets selected winners. The Shopbevel team believes that every jewelry designer should have the opportunity to be discovered, and to further that vision, the Shopbevel community was created to make that possible.
Voting is addicting, and the product is high quality!
So that I could see the quality of the products Shopbevel manufactures, I was sent a necklace. It came packaged beautifully, which is always a good way to win me over; I love quality, well-thought-out packaging. Shopbevel included information about the necklace I received, as well as a “how it works” card, info on how to find them across social media, and a “thank you” coupon code. All in a neat little package that was very fun to open. But imagine my surprise when I looked at the informational card that came with my necklace and saw that the designer, K. Bowers, was actually a Chicagoan! So cool!
I took my necklace out of the little burlap bag and looked it over. Everything was well-made, with smooth edges, clean joins, and quality materials. The metal was actually metal, not plastic, and the rhinestones are high quality glass that reflect light beautifully. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the quality of the piece I received has me realizing that Shopcade doesn’t mess around. They don’t just throw together voted through designs with cheap materials so they can be sold to the masses. They make sure that the pieces the community votes on are worth buying.
A perfect fit for something that will be around for a long time.
The Vintage Rock necklace fits perfectly into my collection of necklaces. In fact, I piled in on the day I got it and it blended in with my flower-bubble necklace and triple-chain beautifully–like it had been there all along. Don’t you love when that happens?
I added it to a totally different group of necklaces the following weekend and got tons of complements on it. I wore the same triple chain, but instead of the bubble necklace I did my “waterfall” chain necklace from H&M. One lovely gentleman complemented my Vintage Rock necklace right after being introduced to me, and asked if it was a vintage piece.
I’ve worn it a couple times by itself as well, and it doesn’t fail to disappoint then either. It’s a great piece that I’m glad I have the opportunity to add to my collection, thanks to Shopbevel voters!
Head on over to Shopbevel to vote and shop.
