Dup-A-Look 22

I can’t remember if I pinned this look before or after getting my floral pants from H&M, but I loved the idea (from City Gurl Secrets) of transitioning these floral pants into fall by pairing them with boots. I also love the rocker girl look of it, because, let’s face it, that’s the kind of stuff that generally speaks to me.  It was an easy look for me that I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of on my own.  I am, however, super glad I came across it, because it gave some extended life to these pants.

I paired the pants with a basic black tee (from Target), tucked in, and a pleather jacket that I’ve had for ages.  I added my wedge boots, which I got last year at Discovery, and layered on two necklaces (one’s from Forever21, and the other is about 8 years old).  My bag isn’t awesomely fringed, but that’s ok.  I ended up having to snap a pic in the office quick before I left work on Tuesday the 23, so the lighting is crap, but the dupe itself came out pretty good.

Dup-A-Look 22

I’m a big fan of this look, and am looking forward to playing more with these pants for fall.  I wouldn’t have thought of putting these springy pants with boots and all black, but it’s opened up a lot of options for me.  I’m liking the idea of trying them with a chunky sweater, perhaps.

What do you think? Would you rock florals in fall, or do you think they’re just for spring?

Wow! You hit this one perfectly! I think those pants can totally work for fall since they have a black background.

Yea, the black background was part of the reason I got these floral pants instead of other, lighter ones. Well, that, and I love black.

Great idea, I love those pants, I didn’t bought them but I have similar ones from Zara, never thought about wearing them with boots (i usually wear them with ankle boots) but now I’m going to dup the look too :)))

Isn’t it a great way to wear floral pants? 🙂
