No matter how much you love your sundresses and your adorable sandals, the cold weather is coming round, and that means that you need to think about what you want to wear this fall! Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean that you have to give up your red-carpet fashion sense; it just means that you are going to have to adjust it a little. Summer was a fantastic time for bright colors, and this fall is seeing some wonderful shifts towards more muted tones. Think about what your options might be as those skies turn gray!
We are loving maxi-skirts this year. Skirts that are tea-length and shorter are very in,and you’ll be sure to find one that works for you if you just start looking. If you like a lot of fluff around your lower half, consider a broomstick skirt. On the other hand, if you want something sleeker and more streamlined, consider a pencil skirt or an A-line skirt. These skirts are perfect for the lovely fall weather, and they can be easily matched with a pair of stockings and your favorite low heels.
Speaking of women’s shoes, don’t forget that boots are in in a big way this year. We’re seeing a lot of eighties fashions, and because of that, we can easily see those lovely slouchy boots coming around again. Look for these boots in black and brown, but don’t forget to choose the ones with bright buckles to keeping this shining and glittering.
When you want keep on wearing those sundresses, you’ll find that actually can, quite handily. For example, slide on a sundress and pair it with your favorite pair of stockings and thick tights. This is something that can make a huge difference to the warmth and look of a certain outfit. If you are worried about it being sleeveless, consider putting a cardigan on over the outfit. As many people have noted, fall is the time for layering, and if you put on a layer, you can take it off when things get a little too hot!
Don’t forget to think about a jacket as well. A jacket is a great way to add a little bit of style for fall, so consider what your options might be. A military jacket is a fantastic way to make sure that you have some structure to the clothes that you wear, and it allows you to get some shiny bits into your clothing as well.
When you are looking for fantastic clothes for fall, make sure that you consider how you can move forward with your wardrobe. There are some excellent clothing pairings out there, so consider what options will suit your sense of style.
If I had an unlimited budget and most closet space, you can bet I’d be stocking up on some great fall fashions! But I’m trying really hard to work with what I’ve got.
